Change of mind.

A while ago I was ranting about how quiet this New Year's Eve is. But you know, when I went out to buy some chips, I encountered one of the worst firecrackers ever.

Hindi nga sya lumilipad or anything but the intensity of the explosion is similar to a bomb's. Sheesh. Nakakainis at nakakabingi. I hate it!

Bakit kasi kailangan ng ground fireworks when we can have aerial ones... like those sa Pyrolympics. I mean, they're nicer and they light up the sky diba? :) Plus, they won't do us harm like the ground ones such as plapla, five star, sinturon ni hudas, sawa, etc. Aside from littering the streets afterwards, they can damage properties and EARDRUMS!!! Haay.

Diba? ^___^

Plurk It!

Yes... I'm on Plurk now. :D Add me up! And let's plurk everything up!

According to Colorgenics, this is who I am.

You are striving for a life full of activity and experience and, perhaps even more, an environment where you would be able to forge a close bond with a person who can offer full emotional fulfilment.

You are working extremely hard trying to improve your image in the eyes of others. You are looking for acknowledgement from your peers and those who come into your sphere of influence. You want to be liked, not for what people think of you but for what you really are.

Matters are not progressing as well as you would have hoped and you are having to make concessions - but you still believe that your goals are realistic it's just that people can't seem to see your point of view. You know what you want but you'll only accept suggestions under duress.

You are holding back. You need to find friends in whom you can trust and once they have proved themselves beyond all possible doubt you will be prepared to give them your all. The existing situation is not of your liking - you have an unsatisfied need for mental stimulation with others whose standards are as high as your own. Trying to control your instincts the way you do restricts your ability to open up to others and the way you feel at this time is suggestive of 'total surrender'. This is not to your liking as you consider such thoughts as weaknesses that need to be overcome. You feel that only by control, controlling your innermost thoughts, are you able to maintain your air of superiority. You want to be admired for yourself alone and not for what you can do or for what you may have done. In essence 'you need to be needed' and at the same time 'you need to need'.

You really like doing what you do and, more than that, you like yourself. Your attitude to work and to life is that 'If its not fun - then don't do it'. You want to be liked and respected, not for who you are but for what you are - and it seems to be working.

Hmm... You know what? I kinda agree with this thing. I just can't believe that by choosing colors in order of preference could make them summarize who I really am. Oh well... It's weird because the things they said are so true. :)

Anyway, wanna try? Click here.

Welcoming the new year...

is fun. And it should be noisy! BANG!

This is probably the quietest December 31 in my whole life. Since I was a kid, this day could be described as busy, noisy, colorful, wonderful, and other nice adjectives that one could think of. :) I mean, this is like the most awaited event after Christmas, right? Hehe.

But today... I woke up kinda late. Took a bath. And went out to have my nails done. :) Just to match the dress I'll be wearing later. Hehe. When I got home, I ate lunch which was very simple. Chicken balls with rice. Mariah and Mama were already busy preparing tonight's dinner. I think I've got little participation in this one. Well, it's just right. Haha. I've had a big hand during Noche Buena already!!! :D

Anyway, we watched some CSI: Season 8 episodes again. I love the last episode even though it was just so sad and the plot was just so open. *sigh* I'm still disappointed with the ending because why do they have to kill Warrick? :( It's just sooo final. I hate it. But I agree with my siblings that it is indeed the best episode in that season.

After watching, we all cleaned the living room and the bedrooms. We're gonna get some visitors later. Yay! :D

I'm so excited coz we're going to have spaghetti carbonara, kare-kare, dumplings, and graham cake among others. Yippee!!! :D FYI, kare-kare is like my favorite dish!

I gotta go now but before I do that, I'm gonna share with you a nice message:

People engage in relationships to pursue love, friendship, and inspiration. but one true reason why, is that nobody wants his/her life to pass by unnoticed. No matter how successful and accomplished a person may be, it wouldn't matter if he/she had no one to share his/her experiences with. So thank the people who love you in their own special way, for without them, you are but one unknown person in this world who lives for the sake of living...

Happy yet quite disappointed...

December 30 was a not so productive day. I should have been typing and editing articles but the laptop was not available the whole day. So what the heck? I decided to just finish what needs to be done later... after breakfast. :)

So what did I do the whole day? I watched CSI: Season 8. Man, that season totally rocks! Even though there were unsolved cases, the stories were more than A-okay. In fact, I'm getting good at this CSI thing. Maybe that's because I read a lot of Patricia Cornwell, James Patterson, Jonathan Kellerman novels... I practically have a great idea on what's going on in there. Hehe. :D I'd be guessing the story and I'm getting good with my hunches on whodunit. It's sooo cool I could be a CSI. Or maybe, the storylines were sometimes predictable.

Oh well... I'm just sad that Sara left. And Warrick died. *Oopps. Did I spoil anything for you? :P*

I don't really have an idea whether it's still being aired here in the Philippines or if the season's over... or if it's still airing, what episode is showing now?

Basta, I'm just so excited to watch Season 9! I'm looking forward to it... Although I wish Sara would come back. I like her!!! :D It's just really sad about Warrick being dead and all. What a sad life. :(

Anyway, I'm also quite disappointed with one other thing. I might not be seeing Norman this January because of his work. But I really pray to God that he finds a way to get here. I miss him so much already!!! He called me earlier and lucky me, I was awake to answer it. Lolz. We talked for a bit but he was sick and I wanted him to rest early. And also because he was watching Naruto with his brother and I was watching the last episode of CSI (Season 8) that time. So yeah... we prolly hung up too early. But at least I'm glad that he's feeling a bit better now and that they're celebrating New Year in Samar. How cool is that? I've always wanted to go places during holidays. They're lucky they could travel whenever they want.

Me? I'm stuck at home. But that's okay coz people are coming over later to party at our place anyway. Yay! :D

P.S. I realized that I should be blogging more often about my daily activities. Because it's the only way I could recall a lot of details about my life. :) I realized that when I read my old blog and saw that I blogged about my life in so much detail that... well, through reading my entries was the only way that I'd remember them. Confusing much? It just puzzles me that I seem to have a short-term memory these days. I can't believe I'd be having a hard time remembering certain events that transpired 2-4 years ago. How could that be possible at my age? Memory gap perhaps? Sheesh. Oh well. Well then, just to preserve my memory, I'd try to blog more about myself and my life. :D

And oh yeah... I hope you, my friends, would do the same too. :)

What He gives you is all you need.

When I asked God for strength
He gave me difficult situations to face

When I asked God for brain & brawn
He gave me puzzles in life to solve

When I asked God for happiness
He showed me some unhappy people

When I asked God for wealth
He showed me how to work hard

When I asked God for favors
He showed me opportunities to work hard

When I asked God for peace
He showed me how to help others

God gave me nothing I wanted
He gave me everything I needed.

Mass, Puppies, Eizel (December 28, 2008)

Took some pics using Mariah's MotoRAZR too. :)

It was the first time in a long time that Mama joined us to hear Mass. :) Usually kasi kaming 3 girls lang with Mommy. :) So it's a happy happy joy joy day!

After that, punta kami sa mini market to buy lunch. :D Marami na kasing cooked lunch dun... sarap! :) Mama bought dinuguan and bicol express. Then, I bought nilagang mani, my favorite. Then we ate barbecue. Hehe. :D

I got engrossed with the puppies soon as we got home... cleaned them up. :) Looked so good afterwards. Hehe. Trisha and I missed lunch because of the puppies... but it's okay. Cooked sisig instead. :) Yay! :D

Took some pics of the puppies... look at them hugging each other. Awww... so cute!!! :D They look like angels... I wish they won't grow so much so they'd stay cute and all. And also so that their poops won't be so large. Hehe. Hard to clean up smelly poop no.

Then, Eizel dropped by to get some shirts that are already available for delivery. :) Chikahan and all. Hehe. Then showed her our largest bar of chocolate. :)

Too bad Eiz and Julie won't be able to go with Steph and I tom. :( Sayang... girl bonding sana! Hehehe.

Tata for now... Have to write something pa. Ciao!

Day 12 of Puppies (December 27, 2008)

Play time.. then sleep time. :)

Noche Buena (December 25, 2008)

Take a peek at our Noche Buena. :P

What you can see on our dinner table are serving sizes of what we prepared. Here's a list of what's for Noche Buena:
2 bottles of 2 L Coca-Cola
Garlic bread
Pesto Pasta (pasta and sauce were separated...)
Spaghetti
Nacho Chips + a round tray full of dips
Fried dumplings
Fried chicken
Barbecue
and other sauces...
Graham cake for dessert

That's all. Hehe. :D I made 3 batches of graham cake... and naubos siya nung morning din nung December 25. T__T Bestseller!!! :D Plus I love the pesto sauce which is very creamy... Love it!!! :D

Preparing for Christmas Eve Party (December 24, 2008)

Shots taken in between cooking sessions... and some shots after Christmas Eve mass, while waiting for 12mn. :D

Patrick and I were trying the burst shots using my phone's camera. So I asked him to pose for like 3 consecutive times. Look what he did!!! He tried to pick my nose. Haha.

Vanity Shots + Dogs (December 23, 2008)

Day 8 na ng puppies. :D Yey! Funny coz Ginny always wants to get inside the puppy bed. Pinagsisiksikan niya sarili niya. Lolz!

December 27, 2008

Day 12 of Puppies (December 27, 2008)

2 has fully opened their eyes already. Yay! :D

There are 6 puppies and we'll be keeping only 1. *sniff*

Shopping Day with Mariah (December 22, 2008)

Actually, naggrocery lang kami ng food for Christmas. Hehe. :)

We went first to the salon to have our nails done. It's been a long time and I guess we deserve a little bit of pampering. Then we had lunch at Pizza Hut. My favorite, if you must know. Super panalo meals for only 99 pesos. Super sulit!

So many people commented about my dress. Hehe. The moment I left home, dress na yung napansin nila. Then, there was this ultra weird moment bago kami sumakay ng tricycle papunta sa SM. Basta. Ewww.

The ladies at the salon said they want my dress. Tanggalin ko daw. Aba! Haha. Anyway, the ladies at Pizza Hut greeted me as usual. Lagi na kasi ako dun. Haha. :D Gusto daw nila yung dress ko!!! :D

Went to Maybelline to buy mascara. I super need it... Look at the effect. Looks like I'm wide awake no? Hehe. Instant eye opener. :D Yey. Minus 1 sa wishlist. :D Ang natitira na lang na make-up stuff na nasa wish list ko ay 1 eyelash curler from La Cross or Shu Uemura, the lip and cheek tint from VMV, foundation from Maybelline or L'Oreal. :D Yey! :D

Neway, Check out the huuuuge chocolate bar we have! :D Tata!

Divi Day + Cutie Dogs (December 21, 2008)

Some some funny signs sa 168 Mall. Grabe nga naman talaga. hehe. :D Marami pa kami nakitang funny signs along the streets kaya lang couldn't take pics of them eh. :(

Afterwards, took pics with the puppies who are already 6 days old. Yey! :D

Let's PROM Tonight! (December 20-21, 2008)

Last December 20, the YFC SB9 held a Christmas Party in a school in Sunvalley. :) The theme was prom night! So yeah... you get the drift. Ladies should wear cocktail dresses and the gents should wear polos and slacks. :)

The food was good and I had a great time. :) Although I didn't mingle much with the Sunvalley people. I just kept my interaction with the Moonwalk and Merville people. Hehe. :D Damn. It's sooo good to see them again after a long long time. :D

Ang saya coz may worship before and after... then may mga performances. Tapos may awards. :) Sayang hindi ako yung prom queen. Haha. :D May bitter sentiments kami ni Mariah about that. Joke. So ayon... posing na pang-magazine. :P Got home around 3am na. Really had fun!

I miss you all so much. Hope to see you soon! :D

*Grabbed some pics from Pau and Carina. :)

My Newly-Organized Bookshelf (December 20, 2008)

This is where I keep the encyclopedia, other reference materials, children's books, and collections of romance novels.

I arranged my bookshelf today. :) And I'm sooo happy with the result. :) I only have time to arrange all my stuff during school breaks eh. I call that my mini library simply because most of the books are mine. I probably own 98% of all of those. :D

Years ago, when I was around 11 years old, I started collecting books. :) My first few books were children's books and a few romance novels from Mills & Boons. Through the years, I've expanded my collection to include the latest bestsellers. :) In fact, in high school, I used to buy new books 2x a month from National Book Store. Then, in college, I bought new books from bargain stores like Booksale... and some people already started giving their books to me as gifts. :) I've had aunts, cousins, neighbors, and friends give their old books to me. Sayang kasi if they'd just sell them or give them to charity or throw them away. Akin na lang diba? Hehe. :D

Before, I could only fill half of 1 row of the tall bookshelf. Ganon kakonti. Then bigla silang dumadami coz I buy in bulk. And also because I receive books by boxes too. :) Thank you to everyone who helped me create my mini-library.

Of course, I haven't read them all. Although some books I've read 7 times, like the Harry Potter series. :)

So today, I arranged them alphabetically according to the author's surname and then the book title. Come and take a peek at my mini library. :)

P.S. To those who borrowed books from me, kindly return them na. :) I miss them. :)

A Day with Ria, Mcoy, and Desperadas 2 (December 19, 2008)

Twas the night before Christmas...

Oops. Wrong story.

Twas the night of December 18 when I received a message from Ria Pavia asking if I'll be free to meet up with her the next day. You know, coffee and all. Being my nanay-nanayan, I just couldn't say no. :) So we agreed to meet up at Robinson's Place Manila the next day.

Come December 18, we decided to meet around 2pm at SM Megamall instead. But while I was riding the MRT, she called and asked me to meet her at Dome Restaurant in Shangri-La Plaza Mall. Took me 15 minutes to get there coz I'm not familiar with the place. Hehe. She was about to call me, I think... when suddenly I appeared in her peripheral vision. Ah... She put down her phone while she was sipping her fresh calamansi juice. Poor mommy. Down with the flu. The actual reason for our meeting up is that she could give me my Christmas present. :D

She gave it to me wrapped in white bond paper tied with red ribbon. I didn't open it yet coz I was saving it for Christmas. Hehe. Super chikahan galore... It's been what... probably 3 years since we last saw each other. It was nice seeing her and talking to her again... There's nothing like talking about anything under the sun with someone who knows you well. We've been friends since she was in high school, and I was in my 1st year of college then. I think it was through blogging at Tabulas.com that we met.

After our Chikahan galore, she asked me to open her present for me. Awww... It's a cute keychain. :D With "I love you" inscription on it. Then she took out the other pair, which is hers. Yey! Perfect fit. :D

Then, our meeting couldn't be complete without some picture taking, right? :D So there, we took a picture while she was sitting, and I was standing. Deym. I'm that small. (Aunt Rizzie and Grandma Lainee should have been with us... but they're not available that time. Boo.)

Since I had nothing to do all day, she asked if I'd like to watch the premiere of Desperadas 2 later at 7pm. I said, "Why not?" Truth be told, I haven't been in the cinema in a looooong time. I can't even remember the last movie I watched. Then we decided to go to SM Megamall already where we'll be meeting with Fabz, the president of Izadoration, and the other fans of Iza Calzado.

I'll let you in on a little secret, I was the one who made Iza Calzado's Friendster account which she checks once in a while. :)

So the meeting place was at Jollibee, 3rd Level of SM Megamall but it was past 5pm already and they weren't there yet. It was probably a little blessing from God that Mcoy Fundales, former member of Orange and Lemons and now with Kenyo, will be having a show at the Converse Mega Sale in Megatrade Hall 3. So we went upstairs to see him perform. We talked to him while he and his band were setting up but I wanted to look around and see if something will catch my attention inside. I remembered Randy that time... it was probably his own version of heaven. Hehe. :D I was about to text him but there was no signal from Globe that time. Boo. Everything there was marked down to 75%... and mind you, they're all brand new and in good condition. Sheesh. If only I had money that time, I would've bought a gazillion pairs. But I'm not really so much of a fan of Converse. I'd really dig it if it were Nine West, Mango, Topshop, Dorothy Perkins, Aldo, Charles & Keith, etc. Hehe. :D

Kenyo was supposed to play 5 songs. And when they started, Ria went outside to watch. I followed 2 songs after since I'm honestly more interested in window shopping. *peace!* Not that I don't like the band, I like Mcoy and the songs he wrote. Who would forget the Pinoy Ako song which was the theme song of Pinoy Big Brother? Anyway, there was a cute guitarist in Kenyo. I don't know what kind of guitar he's playing but he's on the left side of Mcoy, right side of the audience. Their last song was Hanggang Kailan and I sang along since I knew it. :) After that, we let their fans take pictures with them then we went backstage with them. They're entitled to 1 free pair of shoes from Converse, cool huh? So there, chika chika again with Mcoy and Ria then picture taking. Too bad I wasn't able to take a pic with the cute guitarist. :( Mcoy invited us to their 9pm gig at Hard Rock Cafe but we're booked for the night. And I told him I still have curfew, which is half-true. When we went outside, we saw RJ Jimenez. Chika chika again then we left him so he could set up.

Anyway, we went back to Jollibee to wait for the others. While there, I was texting with Mcoy.

Moe: Hi mcoy! Nice meeting you. Thank you for being nice.. Ü - monique
Mcoy: Ey monique! Pleasure's mine. Funny kse may curfew ka =p
Moe: Hehe. Funnier thing is, I'm older than Ria. Ü Wasn't able to ask permission kc na il becoming home late. Ü maybe next tym. Ü thanks again!
Mcoy: U didnt ask permission? That's funnier still wahehe
Moe: Ahaha.. Oops. :p I didn't know I'd see you today! Ria just surprised me. Ü

It was a good thing that some of my friends were texting me while Ria and I were waiting for the tickets. :) It was really boring in Jollibee eh. It was almost 7pm when Fabz and the other fans arrived. It was funny coz they thought I was a hardcore Iza fan. Truth be told, I was not a member of the forums. But I know some people simply because Iza and I were previously acqauinted. :) I also met Ate Lucy the president of Robin Padilla's fans club/former cook/present cook at his foundation. I discovered that he has a house at Thomas St., Multinational Village. It was fun talking to them coz they updated me about the showbiz industry. Since I don't watch TV nowadays, I'm probably the sorest loser when it comes to showbiz stuff.

I had dinner while waiting for the tickets, which were coming from Tito Lito, dad and manager of Ate Iza. There were around 50 tickets!!! And yep, they're free. It was the 1st time I'd be watching a premiere... Hehe. So I was really ecstatic. :D

It was almost 8:30pm when we went inside the cinema. We were given the red carpet treatment c/o Tito Lito. :D Yey! First time to walk a real red carpet. :P

We went inside and were seated at the De Luxe section. The premiere section was reserved for the cast, their family, and other VIPs. Most of them were wearing gowns... I just wonder if they didn't feel cold coz it was freezing inside. Poor them. :P

I went outside again since I wanted to see the artistas before they enter. :) Popoy, the manager of Marian Rivera was busy talking to his phone that time. As if I'd talk to him. Lolz. So I turned my attention to the entrance instead. I saw Assunta de Rossi, Ana Roces, Loren Legarda, Annabelle Rama, Eddie Gutierrez, Richard and Raymond Gutierrez, Ruffa Gutierrez, Rufa Mae Quinto, Iza Calzado, Marian Rivera, Ogie Alcasid, Jay-R, Niña Jose, Rafael Rosell, and some other showbiz people I don't know.

The film started screening around 9:35 pm and finished at 11:05 pm. :) The film is really really good. I love it! :D Everyone was at their best. Except Marian, whose acting was less than fair. Plus, I don't like the way she talks. Even her Tagalog isn't nice. Ruffa Gutierrez acted so great. And her daughter there was also a good one. I don't know if she's Ruffa's real daughter but she has the same attitude as Ruffa. :D Rufa Mae Quinto is a natural. She made me laugh without showing any effort at all. :D And super kinis nya... grabe! :D Iza Calzado is sooo beautiful and shows finesse even in acting. Well, don't get me started on Marian. She has no class at all. I think Ogie was the one who brought the whole movie to stardom success. :D He was the long lost half-sister... and he brought unity, peace, and humor into the show. :D Hehe. I really recommend you watching it. :) Ogie is a superb actor. Ang galing niya! :D

On the way home, I saw none other than Kris on the footbridge near Shang. He was from UST Paskuhan perhaps. :P Would've talked to him a little longer but since I had some friends with me, we just split our separate ways. :)

Got home an hour later. Tired but super happy. :)

UP Centennial Lantern Parade and Overnight at Giselle's (December 17-18, 2008)

I spent my birthday not at home, but at UP Diliman with my friends. :) Well, okay lang naman coz I really enjoyed. :)

Haha! :D Ang ganda! At mukhang napakagastos.

:D Ang natanggap kong regalo from JEMS ay isang bag organizer. Thank you!!! :D I really need it... Then, from Rizza Beth, a book written by James Patterson entitled "The Quickie". Thank you! Wala pa ako ng ganong book... thank you talaga. Excited na kong basahin. :D

Anyway, Eizel brought her MagicSing at kantahan to the max na naman kami. Hehe. :D At wala akong balak ibigay sayo Chit. :P

Ang daming pagkain kina Giselle... May barbecue, may fried chicken, at Californian Maki. Hehe. Tapos si Randy at Rea, nagtimpla ng aming punch for the night.

:) "At the count of 5, everyone should fall asleep." Yeeees.

:D Yummy. :D Ang daming pagkain ulit!!! Fried rice with tapa and hotdog plus bibingka. :D Yey!

Grabe, sobrang busog talaga kaming lahat... at super nagenjoy! Maraming salamat Giselle at sa iyong parents for letting us stay in your home. :) (Sa uulitin...)

*Maraming salamat sa mga bumati sa akin. :D I love you!

*Some pics grabbed from Ethel, Giselle, Mycel, Randy, and Rea. :)

New Puppies!!! :D (December 16-17, 2008)

Ginny gave birth to 7 cute puppies last December 15. Look at her nursing all her puppies... so cute. :D I have this favorite puppy who doesn't have a name yet. We're still thinking of names eh.

What's really weird about these puppies are their color. Their mother's white. And their dad's unknown. Huhu. :( I wish they were just pure white. Oh well... She must have been stud by a shih tzu... or worse, a mongrel.

Nevertheless, she gave birth to the cutest puppies ever! :D

AKKAP's Kuwento Concierto 2 (December 13, 2008)

Another successful Kuwento Concierto produced by AKKAP. :) There were so many kids we almost filled the whole auditorium. :) Thank you to all those who supported us. I don't have pictures of the whole event since I was at the backstage most of the time. Lolz. Picture-picture moments at our makeshift backstage/dressing room, which is actually the Ladies' washroom. Hehe. :P

I played the angel in the story "The Little Angel Who Lost Her Wing". :) You should have seen my wings... they're the best. :P

While waiting for the exam to start, I decided to hang out at MoMo again. :)

This time, I ordered their Chocolate Lava Cake which has sooo many chocolate inside... and it was topped with Vanilla ice cream. :D Love it!

MoMo, Window Shopping at Rob, and CPH Fire (December 05, 2008)

Friday is my free day. :) And it's the date-with-Van-and-Zoe (when she's free) day. :D

So, upon Van's suggestion regarding MoMo (which means More Food, More Drinks), I went there. :) It's located at Midtown Wing of Robinson's Place Manila. It's near Italianni's.

I really love hanging out at MoMo because they're so pocket-friendly. I can hangout there with only PhP 150.00 and still have fun. :) Here are some reasons why I think they're the best:

1. They have brighter interiors than Starbucks. It's just like Starbucks minus the noise made by the pasosyal people there. At MoMo, you can very well study without being disturbed. :D Plus, the people there are at your beck and call. :) Ready to serve anything that you ask for.
2. When you buy their hot drinks, they serve it with ChocNut. Now, who doesn't love ChocNut?
3. It has free Wi-Fi, much like other coffee shops.
4. Great menu!!! :D I really dig their pastries. :D

Okay, so on that day I ordered Oatmeal Bar which has 3 layers actually. Bottom layer is the oatmeal hash, middle layer is like pure chocolate, and the topmost layer is chocolate again with cake texture. Plus it has chocolate powder on top. And it's garnished with chocolate syrup. Super love it! The good thing is that it only costs PhP 55. Then I dunno if I ordered Hot Chocolate that time or Caramel Machiatto or their Cafe Mocha. Hehe. :D Either of those... and their coffee tastes really good! :D I was studying for IP 142 Lec then so you'd see my notes scattered on the table.

Then, I went to Robinson's since I got tired sitting for so long... Saw some cute stuff that I'd probably add on my wishlist. :)

Then, around 1 pm, I heard that there was a fire at CPH. So I rushed back... but I was too late to catch the fire as it was raging. I just took shots of firetrucks... who were also late like me. Hehe.

Met with Van at Pharm then had lunch at Rob. :)

Late na nito si Van for his IP 121 Lab. Hehe. Pero kailangan ko muna siyang picture-an. Haha. :D

Featuring Van, na mukhang Hapon kapag late.

On my birthday...

I wish for things to be so much better. Yan generally ang birthday wish ko. Syempre bawal i-enumerate lahat kasi baka hindi magkatotoo. Hehe. :D

Marami actually ang bumati in advance... :D (Thanks Ate Keren and Mycel!)

Super buddy and close friend... Na binati ako in every way possible. Text, Friendster, Multiply. You name it. :D)

Yan. :D Salamat!

My Birthday and Christmas Wish List 2008

I started creating a wish list months ago... since September, actually. However, I never really got to write something on it which can is substantial and can really be bought. I mean most of the stuff I wrote there were like beauty pageant wishes. Oh come on.

Since my birthday will be next week and Christmas will be 1 week and 1 day after that, you can give me a 2-in-1 gift. Yep, after 20 years, I've finally accepted and understood the financial crisis of the Philippines. But to my rich friends there who have millions in their trust fund and other bank accounts, you can be generous and be my Santa this year. :P

Anyway, here's my Birthday/Christmas Wish List for the year 2008 (so you won't have a hard time thinking about what to give):

I am OC. Therefore, I'd love to have a:

- bag organizer - for organizing the little things inside my bag... I go for girly and chic and posh designs. :)

- bag holder - or just something where I can stash or hang my bags. :)

- bookshelf - Yes, I need another one. I just got a balikbayan box full of books last month. And I haven't even browsed through them yet. :P They're probably mostly love stories anyway.

I am a make-up junkie. Therefore, I'd love to have a:

- Dream Mousse™ Blush - I'd love the mauve shade.

- Dream Mousse™ Bronzer - The Glistening Sun shade for me please. :)

- Mineral Power™ Natural Perfecting Liquid Foundation - Natural Beige shade works for me. OR The Mineral Power™ Natural Perfecting Powder Foundation in Honey Beige. OR Superstay™ Silky Foundation in Medium Beige. Really, I just want a good foundation. :)

- If you're having a hard time with that, there's this one makeup base I saw at Skinfood and it works as a base, foundation, and powder as well. Great coverage... and it's shimmery thingy gives a slimming effect. :D So this one, I really really want to have. :D Wait, I cannot find a picture of it. :( But in their Robinson's Outlet, it's to the left of the Lime Secret Shine Base. It's one of their bestsellers. :)

- Anything from Skinfood, The Body Shop, The Face Shop, L'Oreal, and Maybelline. :)

I am definitely in need of pampering. Therefore, I'd love to have a:

- Gift Certificates from any spa. :) I'd love to spend one whole day at the spa. :D Badly. Need. To. Relax.

- And that includes treatment for my ugly pimples. :P

I love clothes and shoes. Therefore, I'd love to have a:

- set of new lingerie. A cute one or a sexy one. I know nobody gets to see it but me... But, I believe that every girl feels beautiful because of what she's wearing underneath. :D

- jacket. I'd love this because I don't have a jacket yet. I'd go for girly jackets. :) I don't want the ones with emo designs. Blah.

- little black dress. Simple yet elegant. :)

- pair of white shoes. Something that'd go with my uniform. Closed, so I can wear it to the laboratory. :) A pair of nice clean flats is love.

I love fragrances. Therefore, I'd love to have a:

- Elizabeth Arden Green Tea. Escada Island Kiss. Paris Hilton Heiress. And this black raspberry something perfume available at Skinfood.

Well, that's most of it. Teehee. :D

Normally, I'd request for books and other notebook stuff I could write on... But for the past 10 years, I've probably accumulated 20 years worth of cute notebooks. :D Hehe. :D People do know that I'm fond of reading and writing. :D Thank you for letting me pursue my iterests.. (Yes, ang drama na.)

Anyway, till next blog. :D Thanks!

Katoxican at Kahirapan.

Katoxican.

Ngayong araw na to, 8am-6pm ang sched ko. Walang break. Okay lang naman... Nasasanay na rin ako. :) Pero maraming mishaps ngayong araw na to. I missed the Ph Ch 37 Lec quiz. During Pharm 109 Lab (Microbiology), di ko natapos sagutan yung answers to questions. At 2 out of 4 specimens lang ang nakita ko under the microscope. Sa Pcog 50 Lab at Pcog 50 Lec lang ata ako nakabawi. Hehe. Oh well, sabi naman ni Sir Glenn, may pag-asa pa. :)

Promise, magaadvance akong magsagot ng pre-lab reports during Christmas break. Hehe. Para naman it'll be just like breezing through January, February, and March.

May peyborits. Hehe. Gusto kong magliwaliw. Gusto kong magbakasyon. At maraming akong gustong makita at puntahan dun. Simpleng kahilingan ngayong Pasko, sana'y matupad. Ang kulit ko lang. Minsan nga, the thought of going somewhere else this December is the only thing that keeps me going. Gusto kong mag-escape... into a place where nobody knows me. Tipong I want to get lost somewhere. Maganda sa Cebu... Puro numbers ang destination ng jeeps dun. Hehe.

(Nood kayo! :D May tickets ako!) May Lantern Parade pa sa Diliman... May exchange gifts pa with blockmates and friends. And there are really so many more things to look forward to.

Alam nyo yung feeling of loneliness? Malamang. Yung feeling of emptiness? Yung feeling na ang hirap kapag wala sila kasi pag andyan sila, alam mo at sigurado kang may nagmamahal at sumusuporta sayo. Basta... yung sense of security na andyan lang sila. Sana makita ko na ulit sila... I want to spend even just 1 day with them. As in whole day... just like what we used to do. I miss those times.

Kahirapan.

Well, alam nyo na. Pero it looks like there will be a bright future. Sana... sana...

And amidst everything... Kagandahan.

Maganda pa rin ako. Haha. Joke lang. :P Smile!

December 03, 2008

Akala siguro nila mayaman ako.

Pero dun sila nagkakamali.

Magaganda daw kasi mga damit ko. Ang dami ko daw gamit. May business ako.

Pero iba to. Pramis!)

To have some "me" time, kumbaga.

- Wala na pala. Yan lang talaga gusto ko.

Naalala nyo ba yung sinabi ko dati na I accept personal donations?

Di ako nagbibiro.

(Thank you in advance!)
