Using the Eyeliner for a Wing Effect (May 08, 2009)

I haven't tried this look in a long time simply because it's very dramatic. :P

You cannot go out in the day wearing that much eyeliner around the eyes. Hehe. Anyway, I had nothing to do at home so I put some makeup on... and voila! A variation of the wing effect... makes me look half-Egyptian half-Chinese. Lolz. :P

What do you think? :)

I wanna have these as well...

Price: around PhP 1,800

This palette is everything I would want in one palette! The 78 thumbnail shadows are high in pigment, and include matte, shimmer, and frosts. One can never go wrong because one has every color from its lightest tint, to the darkest shade. Also has larger sizes of most commonly used shadows, and complimentary blushes. The shadows have great longevity, and there is a lot of product in each color. This is great palette for anything from weddings to runway!

But they're not on my priority list. Those on my priority list are geeky stuff. Yeah, I'm like that. Though I'd rather buy a pharmacy or medicine-related book than a make-up palette, it'd still be great to have these in my collection. :)

Wishing for a make-up train case...

If you'd ask me about having one 3 years ago, I'd probably raise my eyebrow at you.

But now, I really really want one. :D

My make-up collection is grooowing. It's not a humongous collection. Not yet. But I want to be organized with it.

All my make-up are just in one plastic container. Though neatly arranged, I'd love to see them arranged in drawers... Thus the need for a make-up train case.

Cases may cost from $20 to $500 dollars. A Shu Uemura make-up case costs $450. My my... So expensive. But I've found really sturdy, pretty, and affordable ones. :D

Pro Rolling Pink Makeup Case

The ULTIMATE professional makeup case kit. A special edition Pink Alligator Skin Finish. It has compartments and trays that are convenient and endless. It has trays that you can pull up and out of the base to hold   brushes or pencils. A deep bottom big enough to hold your bottles and palettes. In line skate wheels for easy mobility. This case is a must have for the professional makeup artist.

* 2 Cases in 1
* High Quality Material w/ Pink Alligator Skin Finish.
* Reinforced Steel Corners for Extra Durability.
* Telescopic Handle with In-Line Skate Wheels.
* Extra Lid INCLUDED.
* Trays Lined with Stitched Vinyl Surface for Easy Cleaning.
* Heavy Duty Ergonomic Locks with Dual Keys.
* Adjustable Tray Dividers.
* Removable Tray w/ Dividers in Lower Storage Well
* Price: around PhP 7,800

** This is absolutely perfect. However, this is way too large. Besides, I'm not planning to be a professional make-up artist in the future. I just want the loot. Haha. :D In any case, I've found a smaller make-up case that will suit my needs.

Large Pink Crocodile Pro Makeup Case

* Beautiful New Silver Aluminum Finish
* New Handle for added Grip Comfort
* NEW Wider opening at top of case for easy access
* Deeper Compartments
* Upgraded Slider Feature for both Trays
* Removable Custom Tray Dividers
* Easy to clean Black Liner inside
* New Security Locks and Keys
* Superior Shoulder Strap
* Price: around PhP 3,200

** I think that this case is perfect too since it's very large and spacious and the trays can be moved to make spaces bigger or smaller. It can fit prolly more than 100 pieces of make-up. :D Plus, I love the color. :) Good value for money too! Oh... and one more thing, I could probably place my nail colors and other manicure/pedicure items too so I won't need a separate kit for them.

Now, if pink looks too feminine, the silver version is perfect for a sleek look.

But that's not all that I've found. I've found something even more affordable. :) And it's their bestseller!!! :D

MoMo, Window Shopping at Rob, and CPH Fire (December 05, 2008)

Friday is my free day. :) And it's the date-with-Van-and-Zoe (when she's free) day. :D

So, upon Van's suggestion regarding MoMo (which means More Food, More Drinks), I went there. :) It's located at Midtown Wing of Robinson's Place Manila. It's near Italianni's.

I really love hanging out at MoMo because they're so pocket-friendly. I can hangout there with only PhP 150.00 and still have fun. :) Here are some reasons why I think they're the best:

1. They have brighter interiors than Starbucks. It's just like Starbucks minus the noise made by the pasosyal people there. At MoMo, you can very well study without being disturbed. :D Plus, the people there are at your beck and call. :) Ready to serve anything that you ask for.
2. When you buy their hot drinks, they serve it with ChocNut. Now, who doesn't love ChocNut?
3. It has free Wi-Fi, much like other coffee shops.
4. Great menu!!! :D I really dig their pastries. :D

Okay, so on that day I ordered Oatmeal Bar which has 3 layers actually. Bottom layer is the oatmeal hash, middle layer is like pure chocolate, and the topmost layer is chocolate again with cake texture. Plus it has chocolate powder on top. And it's garnished with chocolate syrup. Super love it! The good thing is that it only costs PhP 55. Then I dunno if I ordered Hot Chocolate that time or Caramel Machiatto or their Cafe Mocha. Hehe. :D Either of those... and their coffee tastes really good! :D I was studying for IP 142 Lec then so you'd see my notes scattered on the table.

Then, I went to Robinson's since I got tired sitting for so long... Saw some cute stuff that I'd probably add on my wishlist. :)

Then, around 1 pm, I heard that there was a fire at CPH. So I rushed back... but I was too late to catch the fire as it was raging. I just took shots of firetrucks... who were also late like me. Hehe.

Met with Van at Pharm then had lunch at Rob. :)
