Qualitative and Qualitative Analysis of Kakawati Leaves

These are the posters I've designed for our Ph Ch 37 Lab class... :) Our poster presentation was yesterday. Sadly, I forgot to take a picture of our poster in action. Hehe. :D It's moving mechanically!!!

I'll just post the pictures tomorrow. :D

Leptospirosis Pamphlet

This is the pamphlet regarding Leptospirosis that I designed for our Microbiology class. :)

Very simple. :) It took me 4 hours to make from scratch since I had to search for some images that I used for the pamphlet.

What do you think? :)

Leaders' Night with Senator Mar (March 21, 2009)

Last March 21 (Saturday), I had the privilege to attend Leaders' Night with Senator Mar at the Expo Centro in Cubao.

I received a text message which goes like this: "Hi. Gerry Roxas Foundation will be having "Leaders' Night with Mar", a forum dis sat 6pm at expo centro cubao (across farmer's). It will focus on the role of youth on nat'l dev't. Guest spker 4 d event will be Sen. Mar Roxas. Orgs and student councils are encourgd 2 attend. Dnner will b served and there will be a party after."

Anyway, I asked some PROPharm members to go with me. Most of them have exams and are busy that time, so I was really really glad that Cata joined me--without hesitations! :D

Come Saturday, after our make-up class in Jurisprudence, Eizel and I went to Robinson's and had some snacks at KFC. Super kwento to the max about one Sunday when I accompanied a friend to the airport... long and funny story, really. Moving on, Cata called me at around 4:45pm and told me that she doesn't have a class anymore... so we're good to go. :)

It took us almost an hour waiting for an FX to Cubao. It was strange because it was a Saturday and Taft Ave. was really jampacked with so many cars, buses, jeeps, and pedestrians. I got really dizzy from the heat and smoke--and from waiting too. So I suggested that we hail a cab already... before I faint. Once inside the cab, Cata and I were relieved because it was airconditioned and because we were surely on our way to the said forum.

We got a bit lost because we alighted at Cubao Expo... wrong place. Hehe. The sign Expo Centro was really inconspicuous... you can hardly see it. So I texted Roseval, the one who invited us, and she told me to meet them at Mercury Drug at Farmer's Cubao. It was a good thing that Cata was with me. She's very familiar with the place... No sweat finding the place. :D When we got there, surprise surprise. A-K will also be attending the said forum... with Joey and Maan as the attendees. :D

Anyway, we went to Expo Centro already and after registering, we shared a table with Roseval, Marje, Golda, and Rosie. Chikka chikka and took some pictures. :) The place was big... it could handle a lot of young leaders. Hehe. :D Spotted Terry Ridon and Kuya Mark Arnedo there... Parang celebrity na talaga si Terry. :D

The program started at around 7pm with welcome remarks from Aljie Kemper Dacusin of Student Councils Alliance of the Philippines. Then, there was a roll call of all participating organizations. After that, Atty. Chito Gascon, from the Office of senator Mar Roxas and Director Leader of Liberal Party led the Opening Remarks.

According to Atty. Gascon, the objectives for the night are: 1) to gather the growing network of young leaders concerned about the country, 2) talk with Senator Mar, and 3) decide on how to continue communication with these young leaders.

After the speech, it's DINNER TIME! :D They served pasta, java rice, lumpiang shanghai, spaghetti, and barbecue. Yummy! :) There were free-flowing drinks as well. Busog lahat! hehe...

Senator Mar Roxas arrived just after dinner. He was first introduced by Atty. Doris Ramirez, Secretary-General of Alliance of Liberal Youth. And Senator Mar's talk soon followed after.

So what did Senator Mar talked about? His speech started with an anecdote... and then he posed a question. "Sa kabila ng tagumpay (of the youth to get an education) and then what?" He told us that he is very sad... because he cannot assure all graduates of a good future ahead of them. [He attended the graduation ceremonies at Philippine Normal University prior to the Forum.]

He said that the reason for the hazy future for us is... "sira ang sistema." Here are some points on his talk:

- Sa totoong buhay, ang mababait at sumusunod ang agrabyado. Ang mga maloko, sweet-talkers, mabulaklak magsalita, etc... sila pa ang ahead.

- THE SYSTEM IS BROKEN. :(

- Idealism vs. Pragmatism

- Wag tayo magpaloko! In times of despair and frustration, it's very easy to give in to fate--"we are doomed."

- "Do the right thing." Hindi madali ang tama...

- Think about it. In this conflict between ideal and vs. pragmatic... Pray. Hold true and be steadfast and do what is right.

- And then he told us that "Peter Parker" said in Spiderman movie that "With great power comes great responsibility." [Correction, it was Ben Parker who said that.] Anyway, he cited that only 1 out 5 Filipino students lang ang makakagraduate ng college. And then he emphasized that we, being in College already, are already elite. We are part of the minority. And that we defied our default future.

He made a meaningful talk... but he didn't say something new. He really just reiterated and emphasized the status quo. But I liked his argument about idealism vs. pragmatism.

After his speech, the floor was opened for questions. The first question asked was "Baka madaya sa bilangan ang dapat manalo? How to ensure na yung iboboto talaga ang mabibilang?" And Sen. Mar answered, "dapat bantayan ang boto!" And he compared it to how we buy groceries in the supermarket... How we fall in line at the counter watching over our cart of foods and toiletries, etc... How we watch the cashier register our items... etc. etc.

The second question was, "How to make sure that people in the government really do their job?" He answered, "How do you establish accountability? Pag may accountability... gagawin dapat. Accountability ay nasa tao. Pag nasa opisina, magtuturuan. Dapat may political will."

The third question was regarding the title of the program... and the Comprehensive Education Reform Program. "May program ba for national development/ How to involve youth sa national development?" Then Sen. Mar stated his plans of extending years in school. And he said that "Other than education, there is no other program for the youth. Program for youth=program for future.

I had a reaction to this one because in my opinion, it is not necessary to extend the length of education programs in any education level (primary, secondary, or tertiary). Because what we have to do is to IMPROVE QUALITY OF EDUCATION. Lengthening will do nothing if the quality is not improved... right? It will just be an additional burden especially on the part of the parents.

The fourth question was, "What are your visions for the country?" And he answered, "A system where we can actualize our potential. Yung hindi baluktot... A country that allows all of us to actualize our best potentials... A country that is able to feed ourselves..." Hmmm... simple vision. :) But to realize it, it should be paired with action.

The fifth question was about what he can do about the declining access to education. It was actually a very good question... and the one asking the question asked if Sen. Roxas could support their Tuition Monitoring Program -- a program that will stop the private schools and other education institutions from increasing their tuition. However, Sen. Roxas brought his Tution Moratorium bill. He told us that he would like to have a voucher system. WHAT THE?! In my opinion, this voucher system is ineffective... and not the right answer for the question. We could control the tuition increases... and the tuition increases do not really all go to compensation of workers. Diba?

The sixth question was "What do you feel about tertiary education being a right?" He answered that that is what it is right now... and the challenge is how to finance it?

In my humble opinion, I believe that it should not be the parents who should be burdened by the weight of financing the education of the future leaders of our nation. The government should be increasing the budget allocated for education. That is the real problem here... we have to incease the budget for education in the economic pie.

The seventh question was "What are specific actions done in his term as Senator? Future plans to address system failure?" And he said that the reason for the system failure is that government officials practice lying, stealing, and cheating. And these three, he never did. (What an eyebrow-raising answer right? :P)

The eighth question was on how to improve the quality of education. I forgot his answer to this question... because he really was not able to answer the question well. So next...

The ninth and the last question was regarding his agenda to make a change in the society. He argued about the existence of BNPP or the Bataan Nuclear Power Plant. I'm glad that at least in this thing, we share the same ideas... NO to BNPP.

The tension was really high during the open forum... it was really funny. Hehe. I didn't ask question since I might not be able to walk out there alive. Kidding aside, I just placed my comments in a paper. :)

Then, DQ's Dilly Bar was served. It was yummy... pero the best pa rin ang Sundae McDip ng McDo! :D Hehehe... :D Yummy! Then uwian na after that. :D

We didn't stay for the party... I just wanted to rest and go home that time. :)

It was a fruitful night... I learned a lot of things. Anyway, I hope we have more options for the Presidential elections next year. :)

MoMo's Cheesy Lasagna (March 23, 2009)

I went to MoMo while waiting for Stephy. :)

And so I ordered one of my favorites: Cheesy Lasagna! :D

I really really recommend MoMo's Cheesy Lasagna. For the price of PhP 99.00, it's super sulit!

It was served fresh from the oven. Really hot. With a thick layer of cheese on top and chopped basil leaves. It's also loaded with layers of meat... and more cheese. Yummy! :)

You should really really try it. :D

The real reason behind the Pops-Jomari breakup

Concert Queen Pops Fernandez and Jomari Yllana have each confirmed their breakup but neither has spoken up about the real reason behind it, prompting rumors that money-related matters or a possible third party caused it.

But Good Times Manila learned from a source who personally witnessed the breakup that neither of those was the real reason.

According to the source, a waiter at a five-star hotel where the breakup became official, the couple had a “long and calm” discussion until they arrived at a mutual agreement to split up.

GTM asked the source to reconstruct the scene as well as the dialogue.

Disclaimer: GTM is not responsible for any creative or dramatic license the source might have added to the source material, like what ABS-CBN’s anthology Maalaala Mo Kaya did.

The source’s account follows:

Pops: …what I’m just saying is, it’s not right.
Jomari: Ano’ng ibig mo’ng sabihin? I already said it meant nothing.
Pops: It obviously meant something. You were both laughing like crazy.
Jomari: So what if we were? Usapang lalaki lang yun, babe.
Pops: Why won’t you just tell me what you were talking about?
Jomari: Bakit?
Pops: No naman. My point simply is I want to know.
Jomari: Why?
Pops: I don’t know.
Jomari: See? You don’t even know.
Pops: Pero why don’t you just say it kasi? Nakakahiya ba?
Jomari: No. Nothing like that. Like I said, usapang lalaki lang yun.
Pops: Usapang lalaki. But we talk about stuff like that all the time, di ba? What’s different here?
Jomari: We don’t talk about that. Babe, just leave it. Please?
Pops: I don’t want to.
Jomari: Why are you so curious?
Pops: Because you were laughing so hard and you were both looking at me! Sino’ng hindi macu-curious?
Jomari: Shempre nandun ka sa loob. Sino pa’ng titingnan namin? Nobody else was inside the pet shop.
Pops: So what were you laughing about?
Jomari: Wala nga, babe e.
Pops: Was it about me?
Jomari: No!
Pops: It’s about me yata e.
Jomari: I swear it’s NOT.
Pops: I’m going to walk out.
Jomari: C’mon babe. Sit down.
Pops: Joms, if you don’t tell me what you were talking about, I’m walking out now.
Jomari: You really want to know?
Pops: Yes!
Jomari: Okay. But before I say it, I want you to know that it had nothing to do with you.
Pops: Bakit my disclaimer pa?
Jomari: E kilala kita e. Basta just hear out the whole story first, okay?
Pops: Okay fine.
Jomari: Tito Dougs was saying kelangan nya nang janitor fish for his aquarium. To keep it clean.
Pops: Okay.
Jomari: And I said “Sa bahay namin hindi na kelangan ng janitor fish.”
Pops: (quiet)
Jomari: Then he started laughing. Babe, why are you so quiet?
Pops: (quiet)
Jomari: Babe? When he started laughing, naki-join na lang ako. I don’t know what he found funny.
Pops: (quiet)
Jomari: Babe? It had nothing to do with you, I swear. Babe?
Pops: (quiet)
Jomari: C’mon, babe? Sorry na please… You’re so beautiful. Sinong mag-aakalang janitor fish ka?
Pops: Read. My. Lips. It’s OVER! (walks out)
Jomari: (calls out) Babe! You’re beautiful!

Lunch Date with Van and Zoe (March 18, 2009)

March 18. I was so happy because I was able to dress up again. What a refreshing break from our dull uniform. Wearing the same style of clothing everyday, 5 days a weeks, isn't a really happy experience for me.

Anyway, at least I was able to wear my new top. :D

Went to school at around 11am to meet Zoe and Van at the College of Pharmacy. Time for our lunch date... Our lunch dates are scheduled on Fridays but since we're all busy this Friday, we decided to have it on a Wednesday this time. Hurrah! :)

We ate at Baker's Passion because we wanted to try their pasta and pizza. :) We had Seafood Linguine Pasta and All-Meat Lover's Pizza. Then Van and I ordered shakes. I ordered strawberry mango shake and he ordered carrot banana shake. :D Yummy!

Their pizza is really value for money! At 150 pesos (more or less) you get 12' or 14' pizza. Good for 3 people especially if paired with pasta. Halfway to finishing our meals, busog na kami. :D

Awww... I'm gonna miss these moments. Zoe is graduating na kasi. :( No more Culture Editor sa Kule. Oh no! And it's official. Hehe. We need a new breed of writers and artists... Ang dami kasing aalis this April. Major problem for us.

Kaya friends, if you're interested in writing for The Manila Collegian, please apply. :) Let us continue what we have started this year. We are now regularly releasing fortnightly... and that's a great achievement. :) We wish to continue with our endeavors but I think lack of manpower might deter us from fully achieving our mission. But then again, I hope we muster enough courage, willpower... and may we have tons of extra time to continue publishing fortnightly next academic year.

Btw, our last issue for this semester is our post-election issue (to be delivered tomorrow morning). :) Watch out for it! :D

So back to my story. After having lunch, Zoe went to see Maple at Jollibee. Pano kaya yun? I wonder.

While eating kasi I told them that I wanted to get a haircut. Super boring na rin kasi yung super straight and long hair. It's dragging me down. Hehe. So Van suggested that we go to Vivere located at 4th floor of Midtown.

I got my hairstyle from a Hollywood celebrity... I forgot who. I think it was Ashlee Simpson. I just got the idea from their look book. But mine was a lot shorter than hers.

I didn't look at what the stylist was doing to my hair for a while... and when I looked around, I saw large clumps of hair!!! OMG. I almost freaked out. But I was already strapped down to my seat. I had to get a hold of myself and swallow my saliva several times. Sayang daw yung hair ko. Really, when I'm emotional or something, I do things to my hair. Pero I liked the outcome anyway. It took a lot of mental and emotional baggage. It probably took months from my age. I looked a little younger, again. Hehe.

The probably though is the frizziness... or the "fly away" hair that I got the day after. Sheesh. This is what happens when my hair is layered. I think I have to undergo treatment to tame my mane.

I'm just so happy too because I feel light and bouncy. Hehe.

Nagulat talaga friends ko when they saw me. Ang haba ng natanggal eh. Surprise surprise! :D

Ayun, I also had my eyebrows threaded. Let's see if it's true that it takes a month before the hair grows back. I'm happy lang because it looks groomed and all. Less hassle. :)

There goes my happy day yesterday.

Thanks Zoe and Bibi Van for accompanying me to this seemingly milestone in my life. :D

Untitled

I'm wondering  if he really values and appreciates me.

I do not want to poison the well because he is a really nice person. I guess people do have different personalities and sometimes it is very hard to compromise... because most of the time I expect a lot. I demand. Partly because I think and know that I deserve more... because all my life, people expected much of me. And maybe because of that, I've been trained to give more of what is expected of me. I am passionate... I love giving him surprises. My friends might think I am too extravagant but I guess little things coupled with big gestures can really be alled extravagant when packaged beautifully. At times, I do not want to expect anymore. Because expecting a lot leads to major disappointments. But what can I do? Sometimes I get really sad because I feel underappreciated. But all I'm asking for is fair treatment. I want him to show his love for me the way that I show my love for him. I've been showered with so many blessings from God and from other people... Oh well. I'm not ranting but I just want to share how I feel. Buti na lang siguro at magkalayo kami... at pareho kaming busy--sya sa work, ako sa studies, organizations, Kule, etc. The thing is, should I just lower my expectations? Or should I expect nothing at all?

[To my family, superfriends, and friends: Sorry kung hind ako masyadong makwento. You know me... I need time before I open up. It took me 2 years before I opened up to my superfriends regarding problems at home... It's hard for me to talk about things that I know would burden my friends... So okay na siguro less kwento, para less mental baggage for them. Hehe. Miss you all!]

Siklab 2009 (March 13, 2009)

Such a great experience! I will never forget this experience. It was such a long time since I performed again on stage... and a dance at that. And not just a dance but the Sinulog Festival dance. :D

Sooo much fun! Thank you to our batchmates who made our costumes especially Kathy, Jenny, Dae, etc... to RX (our Princess Urduja) who made the choreography along with Kamille and Elaine... to Elaine for lending me a skin-toned top... to Ate Darl for buying our skin-toned leggings... to my dance mates... and to all our fans. Hehe. :D

On the UPPhA Election (Part 2)

- Chai Ching

First of all, I'm supposedly studying for my 2 exams tomorrow. But as always, there is an inner calling to write my feelings... to respond to things... and this is a natural reflex for me.

Anyway, after reading Chai's post regarding the election tears suddenly flowed from my eyes. I cried because I am touched... what she wrote was the plain truth. During the whole nomination, filing for candidacy, campaign, and election, I did not shed a single tear. A leader is strong. A leader should not show wkeaness in front of her constituents. A leader will and should always be the standard-bearer.

It was only after the results were released that I started to cry. Mainly because of disappointment. I really wanted to win because I believe that I could do something for the College of Pharmacy and the students as well. I know that with the issues that we are facing right now, I can do something about it through collective action. The issues such as the Return Service Obligation and tuition increase could greatly affect our future... especially the incoming and aspiring Pharmacy students.

"Panghuli, si Moe na pumayag maging tanglaw at ulo ng CHANGE sa pagkakataong ito ay napakalaki sana ng maihahandog para sa kolehiyo." I remember last year before the Christmas break when someone told me that she will be nominating me for President of UPPhA. I said, "I will think about it." The thing is, I do not want to leave The Manila Collegian. If I will run as President (or whatever position), I have to leave Kule. To my close friends, they know how dedicated I am to Kule. It is my life... my second home. I told my parents that I might run for the council. They said that they will support me no matter what. They didn't know the consequences. My father asked me if I could handle Kule and the council at the same time, I didn't say anything then. I was still not decided. Come January, I told Eiz my hesitations. At that time, the last thing I wanted to do was to leave Kule.

During the nominations, I was the only one nominated for the position of the President. I just didn't say anything. I'm still thinking about the consequences. It was only February 6 when I told our EIC that I will be running for the local council... and that I will be taking a leave of absence all throughout the campaign period. Currently, I am the Acting-Managing Editor and the News Editor. It was a really hard decision... but when Cat, our EIC, allowed me to take the leave, I was relieved. And then I told PROPharm that I am accepting the invitation. And that was the start. :) I started looking more deeply at the current situation of the College of Pharmacy... and started to think about the changes that I envision not only for the council but also for the students and the whole college. Being the leader of the party, I started thinking about our General Plan of Action, which PROPharm fully supported later on. I know that as a whole, C.H.A.N.G.E. can offer a lot for the college. Some people thought that we are too ideal. Our projects are very much feasible, having undergone feasibility studies prior to proposal. Our projects are SMART - specific, measurable, attainable, realistic, and time-bound. People might have thought that we are too ideal because most of our projects are new... and some are variations of previous proposal. But this time, we assured the students that we can do these things. Because we will be working collectively and we all know that there is power in collective action. Not only that, we can do all these things because we have gained the support of the administration, the faculty, and the students. And... we are confident in our capabilities... that we can carry out these tasks in a span of 1 year.

"Napakarami niyang plano, at mula sa objektibong mata ng isang manunulat tulad niya, nakikita niya ang tunay na sitwasyong kinakaharap ng kolehiyo." Indeed, I, together with the whole C.H.A.N.G.E. have so many plans for the college. We thought about these for a long time and with democratic consultation with all the slate members. Being part of The Manila Collegian for 4 years exposed me to several and different college councils and university student councils. I know what kind of C.H.A.N.G.E. we need. I know that most councils do not execute all their GPoAs during their campaign. And I thought that this time, we should start proposing more feasible projects centering on the needs of the students. We should always have a stand on issues. How will we able to lead if the leader does not have a stand on certain issues? The council should be the voice of the students to the administration, local or national. The council should always stand for the students. The council should always serve and protect the best interests of the students.

"Nais niyang ibaba ang kaniyang panulat at tumayo sa kaniyang mga paa upang kumilos para sa kolehiyo natin." Because I believe that I could do more. This is the time for me to go out of my comfort zone and do something different because I know that I could do a lot of things for the college.

"Mahirap ang naging laban ni At Moe kahit buo ang kaniyang loob sa kaniyang gagawin." It is hard. Ang kalaban ko ay incumbent Vice-President. Mas kilala sya ng mga tao. Pero buo ang aking loob. Alam ko na nung umpisa pa lang na magiging mahirap ito... but I still tried. And I ran for the position of the President. Because C.H.A.N.G.E. believes that capacity to serve is not measured by age and experience. What is more important is the willingness to serve.

"Maraming bagay siyang sinakripisyo." I sacrificed a lot... And I do not regret sacrificing so many things. Because only then can I realize the importance of things. I set aside my personal priorities to take on the responsibility and possibility of being the next UPPhA President. My sacrifices were for the greater good. :)

"Hinarap niya ang mga kritisismo." Maraming nagtaka kung bakit ako tumakbo. Kung kaya ko ba. Mas kampante kasi sila sa kung anong meron na sa kolehiyo. Sa tingin ko, takot lang ang karamihan sa pagbabago. Let us admit that we are not all very adventurous. Karamihan ay hindi risk-takers. They are afraid because they are so comfortable with the status quo. Kaya ngayon, kahit na wala sa konseho, I will still continue to serve the people. :)

"Pero nakita ko na siya bilang isang taong malakas at hindi basta bumibigay sa mga pagsubok at paghihirap." True. Maraming tao ang nakakaalam na isa akong strong na tao. Hindi ako basta-basta sumusuko. At hindi rin ako nagpapaapekto sa pagkatalo... I am very resilient. And I think that this value should be embodied in each and every one of us. Failure should not stop us from achieving our goals. Instead, it should help us think about the changes we could do to eventually succeed.

"Matibay ang kaniyang paninindigan, may sariling opinyon at bukas ang mata at isip sa lahat ng nangyayari sa paligid niya at 'yon sana ang pagbabagong gusto niyang gawin sa mga mag-aaral ng Pharm: ang lumabas sa kani-kaniyang comfort zones at isipin na ang buhay ay hindi lang isang desperasyon na magtapos at huwag bumagsak sa mga subject."

Sabi ko nga, we should always be open to changes. We should go out of our comfort zones. Para saan pa ang impormasyon if it will only be for the benefit of those in power?

Kaya eto ang challenge sa susunod na council... the students have entrusted you with their future. Wag sirain ang tiwalang ibinigay sa inyo. Learn to stand up for the students. Learn to lobby for the rights of the students.

For the whole college, let us not be complacent with what is presently happening. There are so many things that could be changed. But these changes should always be for the better.

We should always continue to strive for excellence. Thank you. :)

And again, congratulations to the future UPPhA. Wag matakot manindigan.

On the UPPhA election

First, I did not win the position of President of the University of the Philippines Pharmaceutical Association. 6 out of 10 from our party C.H.A.N.G.E. won. Congratulations! :)

Second, I want to thank everyone who supported me and who supported C.H.A.N.G.E. Thank you for believing in us and in our capabilities. Thank you for trusting in us. :) Let us continue to advocate for CHANGE.

Third, I was honestly very sad when I heard the news... But it was a good fight. I did my best and I did not regret anything during the campaign. What happened was God's will. Not winning the election was part of his perfect plan for me.

I am happy that I will still be able to continue serving the students through The Manila Collegian. Rest assured that next year, we will continue releasing fortnightly. I am happy because now, people are reading Kule. After so many years, we have regained the trust of our publishers, the students. We will continue to fight for you! We will continue to rally for the right of every student. :)

I am happy that I will still continue to be a member of PROPharm. Go PROPharm! Let us strengthen our campaign on our advocacies. :) Let us continue to serve not only PROPharm members, not only the CP students, but also the Filipinos as a whole. :)

I am happy that I am still a Registered Pharmakwentista through AKKAP. :D

I am happy that I will be able to focus more on my studies next year. This is an opportunity to "upgrade" my GWA. :P

I am happy that I will be able to focus more on my business... On my personal business Anthea... and also on our group business JEMS. Thank you for the support superfriends!

I did not win in the election... but I did not lose anything.

I gained more (in every aspect of the word) than what I have originally envisioned for this school year.

I actually never planned on running for President. But when the opportunity presented itself, I grabbed the chance. It was a challenge. But I accepted. After all, I believe that I could do more. That I could do better. Because I believe in my capabities. And because I believe that there is room for CHANGE.

I am happy that people believed in me enough to nominate me for the position of the President of UPPhA. I am thankful that people want (and still want) me to be their President. Thank you!

It was really a great experience to run for Presidency. It was my first time to run for the student council and I really enjoyed! I am really proud that I was able to lead a group of young, fresh, talented, active, and driven student-leaders from the party of C.H.A.N.G.E.

With the result of the election, it is evident that the CP students voted those who are already in the council. Everyone in our party is a first-timer, except for Java. But I am happy that despite our being "newbies", people still trusted and voted for us.

To our supporters, do not worry. :) For my projects, and also those of Jikki and Joc, will still be fulfilled. :)

I just hope that they will be serving despite their political affiliations. As what we have been promoting in C.H.A.N.G.E., once in position, you should serve as a student-leader. Serve regardless of political affiliation. Because now, you only have one mission, and that is to serve and protect the interests of the students of the College of Pharmacy.

Once again, thank you. :)

And I just realized how similar it is to Closer by Ne-Yo.

Strange.
